We boarded the ship, Adventure of the Seas, on Sunday, April 19th in San Juan.  Our cruise included sailing at sea the first day followed by the ports of Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Maarten and St. Croix before ending back in San Juan. 

This was the first cruise where our family cruised on a ship this large with a inside promenade and an ice skating arena.   They took fool advantage of the ports by doing some excursions mostly in water type such as snorkeling.

Suzanne and Al did our usual walking around the port except for Antigua where we did take a tour we had done years before and enjoyed. It took us over the island and dropped us off for some free time at the famous Nelson’s Boatyard.

Everyone had a great time on this cruise. The next day after landing in San Juan. Suzanne and Al took the transfer bus to the airport where they caught a flight back to Miami.  The rest of the family enjoyed another day and evening in San Juan at the Embassy Suites.
